Midis?

In 2020, I wanted to make music. So one day, instead of getting a DAW like everyone in the year of our lord 2020, I decided to get Anvil fuckin' Studio.

Instead of using a DAW, I used midi?! I don't know how that happened.

Don't worry though, in 2021-ish, I got an actual DAW (lmms, I would say we start from somewhere, but I still use it) and stop miding around.

Under this is a list of my old midi's from 2020-2021, with some commentary.

Midi time

9/5/20 | My first ever midi. Back when I didn't know how to play F major.

9/5/20 | My 2nd song. Despite being 2 years younger than now (6/26/23) I didn't even spell "Usual" right.

9/9/20 | I just wrote the third! You may notice the melodies are the same.

11/5/20 | I just stopped for 2 months apparently.

11/7/20 | A song made in November Seven, 2020. Oh how smart I am.

11/8/20 | I think my headphones were broke when I made this? Don't know.

11/12/20 | A song that isn't related to rock. Though I never specified what rock.

11/21/20 | Haha this doesnt sound like an ocean theme. Who the fuck are you "Gamer Gaming," if that's your real name

Oh by the way, I think during this, I found out a way to use soundfonts instead of the default general midi sounds. I specifically used the Sonic 1/2/3K and 3D Soundfont for some.

11/28/20 | Hell yeah, this fucking song. I like this because it actually is not terrible. Used the funny blue hedgehog soundfont.

11/29/20 | Last Level 2, No Electric, but definitely Boogaloo. They called the soundfont sonic.

12/1/20 | A 7 second midi file. It's actually closer to 8 seconds. Don't worry I can count. Used sonic? Iactuallydk.

12/22/20 | This title references a Minecraft song. Also, this uses a new soundfont, titled Just t4, Nice.

12/22/20 | Now THIS references that Modest Mouse song. I think most, if not all of these songs use Just t4 so I won't mention it as much.

12/26/20 | I think this is actually an edited MIDI, like uses another MIDIs notes. Those notes are someones MIDI of "Ants Marching" by Dave Matthews Band. Also, there was a MIDI before this titled "insert sad songhere" but it's literlly just drums at 100BPM, nothing else.
